art of change!
Through collaborative designs of art murals on otherwise plainly painted areas of Navy ships, artists and Sailors will come together to design and paint carefully crafted and well-thought-out murals that represent their ship and its crew.
OUR PURPOSE

Build and foster a sense of camaraderie and personal ownership in the spaces Sailors spend a lot of time away from home.
The mechanism for this is a multi-day, high-energy event where Sailors and PoP artists, (motivators and artists), collaborate to understand their command history, fuse that with their command culture, and create a mural painted by both the Sailors and PoP artists onboard the ship.

As an organization and as an activity we seek to help bring the numbers of attrition down and enlistment up.
We hope to combat the low enlistment and re-enlistment by building and showcasing an environment where Sailors and artists collaborate to envision and implement murals on what would otherwise be blank doors and bulkheads on Navy warships.“ Life in the Navy is a family business”. This highlights the fact that many people on active-duty Naval service have had someone else in their family to have previously served.
